On August 1, 2016, the Russian Government adopted Decree No. 871, according to which the Russian Export Center (REC) has the authority to draw up and issue free sale certificates required for the import of Russian products into foreign countries. The certificates will be issued at the request of exporters, including in foreign languages.
Such a certificate is required when supplying, for example, food, cosmetics, household chemicals, medicines and medical equipment.
The document confirms that the product is intended for free trade in the country of origin and is of quality suitable for sale.
